Cold-ironing on every container berth
Coastal Reach completes its shore-power rollout, closing the group's container-berth cold-ironing programme.
With the final commissioning at Coastal Reach, every container berth at Harbor Point and Coastal Reach now offers shore power. Vessels plug in within 30 minutes of tying up and the auxiliary diesel is shut down for the duration of the call. The group's at-berth CO₂ emissions are down 41% against the 2020 baseline.
