A new multi-cargo operating model at Crosscurrent Strait runs container, ro-ro and bulk streams on a single tidal basin.
The Crosscurrent Strait pilot runs container, ro-ro and bulk streams on a single tidal basin, with a shared gate and yard. Early results show a 14% reduction in average truck turn time and an 11% increase in vessel-call throughput. The pilot runs through Q4 2025; if successful, the model will be extended to Northbank.
